Lecture

Lecture during GIFT 2007

This workshop offers teachers of Elementary to High Schools an opportunity to upgrade their knowledge in geophysical themes and to shorten the time between discovery and text books.
The workshop program combines scientific presentations on current research by leading scientists participating to the EGU General Assembly, with hands-on activities presented by science educators that can be used by the teachers in their classrooms. Also, teachers are encouraged to give short presentations of special activities they have developed themselves.

Further information about the workshop 2010 can be found on the GIFT Flyer 2010 (PDF).

Registration to GIFT-2009 and the EGU General Assembly (Please inform yourself about the conference programme 2010) is free for the selected teachers and travel/living grants are available. Accepentence of the grants and/or free registration implies for the teacher the obligation to attend the entire workshop and to provide a feedback of its effectiveness.

We are awaiting your application and would appreciate to welcome you in Vienna. Please inform also your colleagues about this workshop.
