Paphos (Cyprus), 9th -17th October 2010

global biogeocycles

We welcome you to a joint autumn school of the International Max Planck Research School for Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (IMPRS), the Max Planck Graduate Center mit Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (MPGC), the Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment (SENSE) and Wageningen University Environment Climate Research (WIMEK) in cooperation with the Cyprus Institute.

The research school focuses on the biogeochemical and -physical interactions between the Earth’s surface (land and ocean) and the lower atmosphere and addresses PhD students in Earth sciences. We offer a rich lecture program given by leading researches in their fields and complemented by basic hands-on exercises, designed to attendants with different field backgrounds and methodology (both experimentalists and modellers). The school takes place in the Paphos branch of Cyprus Institute at the South West coast of Cyprus.

Organizers
